Downtime was honored to perform at the wedding reception of Justin and Emily Roth on November 27th, 2010 in St. Louis, Missouri. The celebration took place at Moulin, a spacious events hall in a historical landmark building in Lafayette Square. Our Jazz Trio played during the dinner hour, after which our eight piece band welcomed Justin and Emily to the floor for their very first dance, to a rendition of Journey’s “Open Arms.”
We opened up the dance floor to the partygoers with “All Night Long,” and the Roth’s guests certainly took the lyrics of that Lionel Richie tune to heart- the floor was absolutely packed until the end of the evening! Justin and Emily asked the band to learn “Stay” by Dave Matthews, and we performed it as the second-to-last song of the night. Finally, we brought down the house with our last tune of the reception, the rock classic “Don’t Stop Believing,” which definitely left the guests wanting more!
We would like to thank Ann Jones and the entire Moulin Events staff for their tremendous hospitality; we always enjoy working at the venue, and we were so excited to see Ann once again. Thanks again to Justin and Emily for choosing Downtime, and congratulations to you both!
